Plunge Pool

Originally called Lavatoio, its name indicates the historical en-plain-air washing house where the help used to do the laundry of the Aristocratic family living the hamlet premises. Sitting on another lower terrace which used to be the vegetable garden of the Borgo, this stone basin has recently been converted into a charming plunge pool. Beside it an authentic 19th century Iron greenhouse which used to house a Calla Lily farm, today it merely houses garden utensils and pool equipment. Both facing south and overlooking the olive groves, this whole area is enclosed by a walled garden to ensure privacy and to keep the wildlife outside this well curated garden. The plunge pool is an exclusive area for Nido del Picchio, it can accomodate 2 guests of the Loft or, if rented as a whole, it can accommodate up to 6 guests to include the Nunnery ones.
